From China with Triumph

VLADIVOSTOK. May 23. VOSTOK MEDIA - A Vladivostok picked team which presented Russia during the VI World March of speed walking in Dalian, came back in triumph.
The press service of the City Hall reported that five Vladivostok sportsmen won bronze and awarded a title - Master of International Speed Walking. They are Alexander Koval, Lidia Churaeva, Eugenia Vavrenuk, Nina Chizhikova and Nonna Prokopishina.
The Russian picked team was collected from walkers of Vladivostok public organizations. The youngest participant of Piece March was 9 year old Michael Vavrenuk. Along with Russian sportsmen, sportsmen from Japan, Denmark, the Netherlands, India, Belgium, Vietnam, Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Norway, the USA, Korea, China and Indonesia participated in the VI World March.
A coach of the Russian team, master of sports of the USSR, the best speed walking master, a member of the executive committee of the Universal Speed Walking League, the president of the Primorsky Speed Walking League Ginseng-Intur, Vacheslav Kitaev noted that the Russian picked team has already received an official invitation to participate in World March 2009. The next March will be held in South Korea.
