Japanese Investors Ready to Build Woodworking Factory in Amurskaya Oblast

A factory for balk producing will build in Belogorsk.

BLAGOVESHCHENSK. May 28. VOSTOK MEDIA - Japanese investors are ready to build a factory for balk producing. The administration of Amurskaya Oblast reported to a correspondent of RIA Vostok Media that during the negotiations with the acting governor of Amurskaya Oblast, the president of the Troika Ink Company Sodzi Umemia showed interest in soon realization of the project. He noted that this factory will give chance for 350 employees, accrued taxes will make nearly 100 millions rubbles. A new factory is supposed to be built in Belogorsk.
Victor Marcenko supported Japanese businessman and said that the basic material potential of Amurskaya Oblast for timber inventory was nearly 2 billions cubic meters. In 2007 2,6 millions cubic meters of timber were stored up, 1,4 millions were delivered for export.

Marcenko said that the Regional Administration was going to contribute to including the factory project to the list of priority-driven projects approved by the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Russian Federation.
