President Concerned About Housing Problem in Primorsky Krai It is impossible for Far East to solve this problem without co-financing of federal center

VLADIVOSTOK. June 3. VOSTOK MEDIA – The problems of Far Eastern Region were raised during the last conference of Far Eastern Region. According to the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev the most difficult problem is the development of transport and infrastructure. The realization of the state program about the building of living accommodations in different regions of Russian Far East was also discussed during this conference.
The official site of Russian president reported that during the meeting of the president with the plenipotentiary representative of the president in Far Eastern Region Oleg Safonov these problems were discussed.
Oleg Safonov reported that last year during the similar period 352 000 square meters of living accommodations were built. This is 72% more than last year. He also said that without subvention of federal center it was impossible for Far East to solve housing problem.
According to Safonov in Primorsky Krai there is 19,5 square meters per head ( 20 square meters is an average index in Russia). So it is impossible to do something without co-financing.
At the end of the discussion the president charged Oleg Safonov with elaboration of the co-financing project.
