Annual International Conference of National Union of English Language Teachers Opens in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. June 26. VOSTOK MEDIA – The Annual International Conference of National Union of English Language Teachers opens today in Vladivostok.
The receiving party is the Far Eastern Association of English Language Teachers. The embassy of the United Sates of America in Moscow and the Consulate General of the United Sates of America in Vladivostok give support to the conference.
The press service of the consulate reports that such kind of conference will be held in Vladivostok for the first time and the city had to compete for the right to be a receiving city.
For many experts it is rather difficult to get to Vladivostok because it is far and expensive. But Vladivostok won the competition and this is the index of high professional level of Far Eastern faculty.
The National Forum gathers nearly 500 experts from 20 countries. Among professors of delegation is Diana Larsen-Freeman, the author of a lot of manuals and books. The most prominent representative of Russian school is a professor of Moscow State University Maria Verbitskaya.
