Commissioning of the Olympic stadium Bird’s Nest was postponed at least for a month. According to the schedule the stadium must have been finished in late March of this year. But the date is delayed till late April, China News reports.
The delay was caused by the ongoing rehearsals of the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.
The stadium Bird’s Nest can accommodate 100 000 viewers. It’s the only uncompleted Olympic project in China. The cost of the huge ultramodern building is $420 million.
