VLADIVOSTOK. 22 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. On the eve of Tiger Day, September, 26, Vladivostok cinema theatre “Ussuri” will host a legendary film “Conflict Tiger” of the British documental producer Sasha Snow. Presentation is organized by International Fund of Animal Welfare and Publishing House “Tai-Pen” supported by cinema theatre chain “Illuzion” so as to attract public attention to tigers survival problem in the natural area.
Tiger has become a symbol of untouched nature in Russia and nowadays in Primorye accumulated 90% of all amur tiger population. That is why Russia is responsible for tiger survival in the world frames.
Film “Conflict Tiger” of the English producer and photographer Sasha Snow reflects a story of tigers and humans whose overlapping interests resulted in death of several tigers and humans. In fact, it happened in the North of Primorskiy Krai, Pozharskiy region, selo Sobolinoe, 1997. Filming took place in 2005 in selo Sobolinoe and involved real people who participated 8 years ago.
To watch a presentation ecologists, biologists, geographers, students of the bordering specialties, specialists in nature preserving, teachers and lecturers are welcomed.
