VLADIVOSTOK. May 21. VOSTOK-MEDIA – According to the all-Russian Public Opinion Research Center, only 13% of the Russian citizens showed interest in declared incomes provided by high-ranking officials on the initiative of the President. More than half of Russian citizens (53%) have no slightest idea of it.
The majority of Russians (70%) that read the declarations doubt the income data provided by the state officials. And only 17% (mostly proponents of ‘United Russia’) of Russian citizens regard the data as trustworthy.
57% of respondents are inclined to an opinion as to the necessity of publishing income-tax return in mass media.
