PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY. March 1. VOSTOK-MEDIA - Kamchatka Krai all-round north competition will take place on March 6.
A spokesman for Kamchatka Krai Department for Physical Culture and Sport told Vostok-Media, the sports event is aimed to develop and promote the traditional sports of indigenous peoples f Kamchatka and to enhance sportsmanship. Several teams from Palana, Penzhinsky district, Milkovo village, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Elizovo have already signed up for the event.
The program of the competition includes axe throw contest, triple jump and other sport games.
