VLADIVOSTOK. June 2. VOSTOK-MEDIA – A recent survey conducted by the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (APORC) found that 83% of Russians are not willing to adopt children.
The report published by the research opinion center said only 9% of those polled are considering adopting a child and only one per cent said they had already adopted one.
Meanwhile, the number of orphaned children in Russia has almost reached one million. Since the majority of Russians have no intention of adopting a child, their number will rise.
