Dmitriy Medvedev Welcomes the Far Eastern International Economic Forum
Forum supports deep cooperation with the Asian-Pacific countries
MOSCOW. 1 October. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev sent welcoming letter to participants of the Far Eastern International Economic Forum opened in Khabarovsk. “Today Russian economy experiences new trends favorable for business activities, - said in the letter, - and Forum is another symbol of growing interest of our foreign colleagues to strengthen official communication and implement joint mutually beneficial projects. It proves a crucial role of the Russian Far East as a link between Europe and Asia. RFE possesses a significant investment appeal and resource potential. There are a lot of opportunities for enhanced interregional and border cooperation, appealing investment into leading national sectors of economy. Long term development and competitiveness of the country depends on successful usage of significant natural potential. I suppose decisions and proposals of Forum will be implemented in practice and reinforce deep cooperation with the Asian-Pacific countries.”
III Far Eastern International Economic Forum is held on September, 30 – October, 1. Previous Forums were held in 2005 and 2007.
