On Occasion of the 60th-Anniversary of PRC Viktor Ishaev Congratulates the Consul General of PRC in Khabarovsk

KHABAROVSK. October 1. VOSTOK-MEDIA – On the occasion of the 60 Anniversary of Founding of the People’s Republic of China, which is celebrated today, Viktor Ishaev, the Presidential plenipotentiary envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia has sent a message of congratulation to the Consul General of PRC in Khabarovsk Sun Lijie.

The full text of the congratulation letter is as follows:

“60 years ago Soviet Union was among the first to recognize the new state of PRC. An enduring friendship makes a bond between our nations. The long history of development of Russian-Chinese relations has seen difficult periods. In view of the basic strategic interests of both our countries, the Governments of China and Russia have reconsidered the history of our relations and since the mid-90’s the new model of diplomatic, economic and cultural ties began to form.

At present the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation are strategic partners in a global economy and politics. The economic, politic and cultural cooperation between our nations has moved to a new level. It became more mature, sustainable and confidential. With every year the trade turnover between our countries increases considerably, the interregional ties become stronger, the scientific and technical cooperation improves and join military exercises are regularly held. All this indicates that our countries have built up a brand new model of cooperation, which is based on independence, equality and mutual respect to the courses of national development.

China and Russia are great world powers, which make substantial contribution to the strengthening of multipolarity and maintenance of international security.

I am confident that the further development of the Russia-China relations will facilitate mutually beneficial prosperity and development of our nations.”
