Botanical Garden In Quarantine Regime

VLADIVOSTOK. 1 December. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Quarantine was imposed on the Botanical garden because of the dangerous flora diseases and plant insects. Besides, regime was put into force in several farmlands in Artyom and the settlement Shtykovo.
The State Botanical garden-institute of the Branch of the Russian Academy of Science – is under quarantine regime due to focuses of the dangerous pests of Californian Thrips and quarantine disease of White rust on chrysanthemum. Now according to quarantine rules it is prohibited to transport or give out any plants from the garden without compliance with Rosselkhoznadzor. The officials are planning to hold a set of chemical and agricultural actions aimed at localization and removal of pests.
