Top Architecture Firms to be Engaged in Visitors’ Route Construction Project

VLADIVOSTOK. February 2. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The development of hardscaping projects along the visitors’ route gets underway in Vladivostok. Primorsky Krai Gov. Sergei Darkin gave instructions to engage the world’s leading architectural companies for the designing of these projects, a spokesman for the Vladivostok Administration reports.

“The route, along which participants in the 2012 APEC summit will drive, should be not only a high-quality road but also the trademark of Vladivostok,” stated Sergei Darkin after a recent meeting on the preparation of Vladivostok for 2012 APEC summit.

Sergei Darkin stressed that “it’s very important that the highway design is being carried out by Primorsky Krai Design Office”, which, by the way, was established at the initiative of Primorsky Krai Governor. “The engagement of Primorsky Krai experts to the 2012 APEC construction projects contributes to the development of highway and building sector in Primorye,” stated Sergei Darkin.

At the meeting dedicated to 2012 APEC, Primorsky Krai Governor was presented a stele building project. The stele, which is to be erected on the border between Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsky Krai, was designed by a student of Far Eastern State Technical University.

A spokesman for the Primorsky Krai Road Inventory Department said the construction of the De Friz-Sedanka low-level bridge has already began. The construction of the bridge will be carried out on both sides.
