Graduates of Military Departments to Serve Three Years in Russia

MOSCOW. April 2. VOSTOK MEDIA – Graduates of military departments in the civilian universities of Russia shall serve three years in the army. The officers who graduated from military scientific centers in the civilian universities shall sign a contract for military service the next day after the graduation.
The respective provisions are stipulated in the decree “On introducing changes to the provision on the order of active service” released on the website of the Russian president (www.kremlin.ru).
The decree also says that graduates of the military centers who received the military officer rank are to sign a contract for three years.
