Sergey Darkin Flies off to Singapore

VLADIVOSTOK. April 2. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Sergey Darkin, the Governor of Primorskiy Krai went on a business trip to Singapore, where the APEC-2009 summit will be held.
The aim of the business trip is to study the experience of this country to carry out summits.
The APEC-2009 Summit is scheduled on September. In the framework of the summit there will be meetings of 21 heads of the Governments and representatives of big businesses of the Asian-Pacific region. The delegation from Primorskiy Krai will participate in the summit.
We remind that Sergey Darkin on the Russian delegation headed by the President of Russia – Dmitriy Medvedev – took part in the APEC-summit in Peru.
Sergey darkin will participate in the briefing with Singaporean steering committee on focal points of carrying out of APEC forum and round table with representatives of Singaporean companies presenting projects for international forum. The Governor will also visit the objects of the coming summit.
It must be noted that Vladimir Putin, the Chairman of the RF Government brought the carrying out of the summit in the line with such major state investment projects as Olympiad in Sochi. The head of the government believes that carrying out of the APEC-summit would strengthen hand in Asian-pacific region.
