VOSTOK-MEDIA - Guitarist and founder of the American metal band Slayer Jeff Hanneman has died at the age of 49 years, according to the web site.The musician died in a hospital in southern California from liver failure. Hanneman since the beginning of 2011 was suffering from necrotizing fasciitis, an infectious disease of deep layers of the skin, like the magazine Billboard. Whether the disease was the cause of the guitarists death is unknown.
