N Korean Applied and Decorative Arts Exhibit Opens in Vladivostok
The exhibit opens today and runs through March 9.
VLADIVOSTOK. February 5. VOSTOK-MEDIA – North Korean Consulate General and the Arsenyev State Museum (20 Svetlanskaya Str.) are inviting the public to attend the DPRK Applied and Decorative Arts exhibit.
The exhibit will let people get up close to applied and decorative arts pieces created by famous N Korean masters. The drawings are painted no Kumgangzhu silk. Hand-embroidery is noted for delicate soft tones, special painting techniques, a very deep emotionality, and high quality. The visitors will have an opportunity to see art pieces made of clamshells, a spokesman for Arsenyev State Museum said.
