Medvedev Has A Mind For An Intelligent Russia

VLADIVOSTOK. June 5. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Medvedev’s vision for this country includes an adeptly run economy and intelligently operated energy-efficient production systems.

“We should not spare money for it” – said the President. “It is presumed to relate to the best investment opportunities available in the areas like efficient energy management, biotechnologies and an assortment of advanced environment-friendly green technologies. And if we manage to implement this, we will get a new economic structure as a result.



According to Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian economy should become not only a powerful raw-material intensive economy but economy where there will be a number of new efficient productions, state-of-the-art technology manufactures as well as communications industry.



He stressed that Russia was bound to preserve the nation’s entire energy and machine-building potential created in the Soviet times since it is not easy task to manage those industries and we allocate some meaningful investment towards that end. He said that the source for such investments would be extra revenues derived from export of raw materials, namely energy.
