The Russians Know Almost Nothing About Chinese Green Tea

KHABAROVSK. 5 November. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Consumption of packed tea bags in Khabarovskiy Krai is still remarkable. Though, in recent time it has become more significant in favour of tea leaves. Khabarovsk citizens bring tea packs from China as a present or gift. But, unfortunately, tea quality leaves much to be desired. Specialists remind that several years ago tea packs transported from China to Europe contained pesticides.
The reason is that Chinese quality standards are different from European ones. That is why a tea transported from China by official means is known to be of better quality and healthier for people.
Specialists also remark that the tea being sold in the cities at the Russian-Chinese borders is more expensive that the same tea in Russia. This is explained by the fact that European traders purchase raw material at the plantations in large amounts which helps decrease the price. And custom tariffs in many countries, including Russia, are significantly low.
