Chocolate Day to Take Place in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. November 5. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Day of Chocolate will take place in Vladivostok on November 7. Residents of and visitors to the city will be presented unique confectionary products to the accompaniment of flute and acoustic guitar.

According to the organizers of the event, gourmets and candy hounds will have a chance to taste the best European cakes and pastries as well as to have a look at the state-of-the-art confectionary technologies and to learn about the history of chocolate.

The main focus of attention will be on the Europe’s top popular cake called Three Chocolates. The cake is made of dark, milk and Belgian chocolate.

The Day of Chocolate will be held in the branded chocolate store Three Chocolates, which was recently opened by the Tortonia Confectionary House. According to the organizer of the event Oleg Ignatyev, the owner of Tortonia Confectionary House, the cake is a permanent fixture in a special occasion such as jubilee or wedding anniversary. “But we can give ourselves a treat on an ordinary day as well. We had set out to hold the event, where everyone, be it connoisseur or an ordinary passerby, can get a small piece of happiness and inspiration,” – he added.

Scientists found that chocolate lifts your spirits and boosts your body systems, which is critical in the autumn season of colds and downcast moods, i.e. the time when your body needs a support and upbeat emotions. And that’s why organizers decided to hold the event on a cold November day.

The formal opening of the Day of Chocolate event will take place on November 7, 13:00 local time, in the branded chocolate store Tri Shokolada (Three Chocolates) located on the first floor of Izumrud Shopping Center.
