Drivers from Primorye are opening the rally season on ice.

Vladivostok. January 6th. VOSTOK-MEDIA – During the period from January to February 2001 the Automobile Federation of Primorye will conduct five stages of rally-sprint competition for amateurs.
Anybody with driver’s license and a car can take part in this competition.
Runs will take place on two man-made ice-covered tracks with a great amount of turns. The motorists will compete by the rules of rally: there must be a navigator sitting next to the driver. With the help of the map, he will warn the driver about the oncoming turns: their length and angle, what is the distance between the turns and what speed should be maintained.
