RF Accounts Chamber Audits Funds Allocated for Summit’s Budget in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. May 6. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Because of the implementation of the major transportation projects in the Russian Far East (pipelines and maritime projects) and preparation for hosting APEC-summit the significance of the region increases considerably. Under such conditions the working out of consistent and integrated strategy of development of not only Primorskiy Krai, but also the whole Far Eastern Federal District turns to be reasonable.
This was stated by Sergey Stepashin, chairman of the RF Accounts Chamber, during his giving speech at the conference dedicated to preparations for APEC-2012 summit.
In the course of the conference the topical issues regarding hosting of the APEC-2012 summit in Vladivostok and results of integrated control over application of funds for preparation for the summit were considered.
Sergey Stepashin stated that decision to host APEC-summit in Vladivostok increased investment attractiveness of the region.
