Trips to Japan and South Korea will be Common for Residents of Far East

Welcoming ceremony of the new cruise ship «DBS Cruise Ferry» took place in Vladivostok, today.

VLADIVOSTOK. July 6. VOSTOK-MEDIA – A new ferry vessel, that will fly between Vladivostok (Primorskiy Krai), Korean city Tnghae (Kangwon province) and Japan’s city Sakaiminato (Tottori prefecture), will link together the three regions of Asian-Pacific Region.
All officials that were present at the welcoming ceremony of the new cruise ferry «DBS Cruise Ferry» expressed their confidence in it. Pavel Popov, Vice-Governor of Primorskiy Krai expressed his best thanks and gratitude to prefects of Kangwon province and Tottori prefecture on behalf of the Governor of Primorskiy Krai Sergey Darkin.
“We will do our best in making our city attractive, comfortable and safe for tourists. We hope that the line will be not only a regular line but also become a practice in usual mode of life of the Russian Far East residents and ferry trips to Japan and South Korea will be common just like trips to Khabarovsk. We also hope that as hosting of APEC summit is nearing the Russian tourists will be able to stay in Japan and Korea visa-free for 72 hours. “ – said Mayor of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev.
It should be noted that «DBS Cruise Ferry» will moor at Vladivostok passenger ship terminal (Morskoy Vokzal) weekly.
