IV International Ecological Forum "Nature Without Borders" Kicked off in Vladivostok

Many vital solutions, which were identified at the previous forums, have been already brought to life.

VLADIVOSTOK. October 6. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The IV International Ecological Forum Nature Without Borders kicked off in Vladivostok.


It is no mere chance that the focal point of the forum is marine ecology. The history of Primorsky Krai is bound up with the Sea of Japan.


The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Vice Governor of Primorsky Krai Nikolay Vachaev, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Supervision over Natural Resource Management Konstantin Totsky as well as government and civil society officials and environmental scientists from Russia, Japan, Republic of Korea, China, the USA, Viet Nam and India.


Delivering his greeting speech on behalf of the Primorsky Krai Governor Sergey Darkin, Nikolay Vachaev made a statement that the ecological forum has proven to be a perfect international meeting venue for scientists, government officials, business community and representatives of environmental organizations from the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region.


“An important point is that the forum is aimed at improvement of the environmental situation in the entire Asia-Pacific Region. Many vital solutions, which were identified at the previous forums, have been already brought to life,” – Nikolay Vachaev stressed.
