“Golden Fall” On Popov Island

VLADIVOSTOK. 6 November. VOSTOK-MEDIA. On Popov island citizens has organized a special photo competition “Golden Fall” aimed at celebration of National Unity Day.
This event has been organized by the Administration of the island territory. As head of island, Oleg Noskov said, the main goal of the competition is to remind people of patriotism, love to mother and responsibility for children.
50 citizens have participated in the competition. And the winner has become a 3.5-year old child Lesha Gurskiy and his parents. He has been photographed and the photo has been called “I am the best cook”. He was praised a soft toy and some sweet surprise.
Competition has also included photos of pets. Jury has chosen two winners out of 35 participants. These have become Persian cat Monya and her owner Nastya Bugorkova and Siberian cat Mason and his owner Katya Zinova. Winners have been praised with sweet gifts.
Young islanders, attending the club “Svetlyachok”, have prepared a special program for patients of the island hospital. The club “Svetlyachok” has worked on the island for 5 years and children attend the club sessions with pleasure. Now children are in the middle of preparing a New Year entertaining program.
