In 20 Years Humanity will Face World Water War

VLADIVOSTOK. November 6. VOSTOK-MEDIA – In 20 years time, the world will unleash a war for water. During the hearing of the Committee on Environment of the U.S. Senate, CIA officials made predictions that the first armed conflicts over water resources will begin within 20 years.

Melting Himalayan glaciers will cause water scarcity in China, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. These countries will try to gain control over water resources. USA, Russia and Canada may find a use for their weapons in the Arctic Region, because once the ice is melted, the resourceful region, where the countries borderlines remain blurred will be very attractive.

It should be recalled that Russia has the second largest water resources in the world. Lake Baikal alone contains a total of roughly 22 percent of the worlds surface fresh water.
