RF Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin Arrives in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. October 7. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Today, the RF Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin together with his deputy Roman Panov arrives in Vladivostok for a two-day official working visit. On October 7 the Minister will inspect the progress of construction works in the preparation for APEC-2012 Summit. Coordinating Council under the RF Minister of Regional Development will be held in Vladivostok on October 8, Alexander Ognevsky, spokesperson of the Far East Directorate of Rosstroy told RIA Vostok-Media.

Earlier this week, a full-size model of a dorm room of the Far Eastern Federal University, which is set to be constructed on the Russky Island, was delivered in Vladivostok. This room will serve two purposes. First, it will be used as a hotel accommodation. And once the APEC-2012 Summit is over, the room will serve as a dorm room.

Two weeks ago this model room was shown to the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in the framework of the VIII International Investment Forum SOCHI-2009.
