VLADIVOSTOK. October 7. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The construction of a two-level interchange has started at the Okatovaya square to ease the traffic flow at the junction.

Builders have already started erecting supports for the interchange and excavating a pit that will make the ramp less steep. Once the construction is over, the traffic running from Zmeinka District will pass over the top level of the interchange, while the traffic moving from Geroi-Tikhookeantsy Street to Oleg Koshevoy Street will pass through the lower level.
Retail outlets located at the construction site are being demolished. Also, the children’s playground owned by a local child care center is being relocated as far as possible from the road. The construction is scheduled to be completed by November 2011, Vladivostok City Council said in a press release.
