The Pace of Construction Works at Russkiy Island Accelerates (Photo Report)

VLADIVOSTOK. April 8. VOSTOK-MEDIA – State officers inspected progress of construction works at the Russkiy Island. The pace of construction works at Russkiy Island accelerates. According to Sergey Goncharov, the state official, to date the construction of the first 106-meter long mooring is already accomplished. The construction of the second 107-meter long mooring is half completed. Piled foundations for crane runways are installed on a shoreland of Pospelov Cape. Later the 15-meter high dockside cranes will be installed there. Sergey Goncharov stated that the first mooring will be put in operation on May 1, this year. According to the representatives of ‘Rosneft’ three filling stations will appear at the island in the near future. The fuel for implementation of the construction works was supplied by barges. The volume of works increases and that means that laborers will need more fuel. And now contracting organizations that already work at the Russkiy Island have an opportunity to choose – weather to supply oil by themselves or buy it directly at the island.
