Fishery Trade Show “Prospects for Development of Fisheries Sector – 2009” Opened in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. September 8. VOSTOK-MEDIA – VI Fishery Exhibition Fair “Prospects for Development of Fisheries Sector – 2009” has opened in Vladivostok today in the framework of the IV International Congress of Fishermen, which is being held in Vladivostok. Federal Agency for Fishery of the Russian Federation, the Primorsky Krai Administration, Association of Primorye Fish Industry Companies as well as Pollack Association are the organizers of the exhibition fair. The proposal to hold this important event in Vladivostok was put forward by the Governor of Primorsky Krai Sergey Darkin.

Representatives of more than 50 Russian and foreign companies are participating in the trade show. The business programme of the trade fair includes contests, workshops on topical issues relating to the fishery industry.

The fair is taking place in Dinamo sports complex (11, Zapadnaya Str.) and will last till September 10.
