Vladivostok Communists Stage Meeting to Mark Anniversary of October Revolution

The demonstrators carried banners demanding the government to check the growth in food prices and utility rates.
VLADIVOSTOK. November 8. VOSTOK-MEDIA – In Vladivostok, communists staged a meeting and procession through downtown Vladivostok on Sunday to mark the 93rd anniversary of the October evolution.
The meeting was joined by the opposition group Tigr (Fellowship of Proactive Citizens of Russia) and student activists. The demonstrators carried banners demanding the government to check the growth in food prices and utility rates, as well as to increase pension benefits and salaries.
In all, about 150 people took part in the event.
