525th Birth Anniversary of Raphael Santi Remarked in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. April 9. VOSTOK MEDIA – An exhibition of Raphael Santi paintings will be opened in the Primorye State Art Gallery yesterday. The exhibition is dedicated to the 525th birth anniversary of the greatest artist of the Renaissance.
The facsimile paintings are a part of the collection “Masterpieces of World’s Museums” that was presented to the USSR Union of Artists in 1978 by Nadezhda Leger, wife of a French painter Fernand Leger. In 1981 the USSR Ministry of Culture transmitted 122 paintings from the collection to the Primorye State Art Gallery.
