Machinery Construction in Sovetskaya Gavan

KHABAROVSK. 9 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Administration of Singapore Yantai Raffls Shipyard Ltd confirmed construction of industrial base of marine machinery in special port economic area of Sovetskaya Gavan. Corporation is planning to negotiate with Khabarovskiy Krai Administration cooperation program envisaged step-by-step involvement of shipbuilding, ship reconstructing, metal processing factories into international sea shelf mining machinery cooperation by the end of 2008.

Project “Sudoverf” worked out by corporation provides Russian and international customs to charge production in Sovetskaya Gavan. One of the largest shipbuilding concerns in Asia-Pacific Region is constructing ships, oil mining derricks and platforms. It is planned to construct a shipbuilding area in Tatarskiy channel with the use of project, process and managing modern technologies.

By October 2008 Singaporean corporation is going to launch their own managing company in Sovetskaya Gavan which will gather all necessary data, legal and technical documentation over creation of shipbuilding complex.
