Dust Storms to Occur in Vladivostok

Heavy smog over Vladivostok reminds the dust storm that came to the city from the Gobi Desert in 2005. But meteorologists suppose that it’s just the dust that appeared in the city streets due to fast snow melting and drying of the accumulated garbage and sand with which icy sidewalks were scattered this winter.
The city administration has recently held a meeting on the issues of city’s beautification and sanitary maintenance. The road services engaged in cleaning roads, sidewalks and lawns have already started their work. The situation is complicated by the lack of dustbins in the streets and absence of a special area for storing of construction waste.
