The residents of Tolstogo street demonstrate against violation of the right of housing cooperative on the territory around the residential house
VLADIVOSTOK. April 10. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The protest rally occurred on Thursday at Tolstogo street in Vladivostok. The residents of the neighborhood, that created the housing cooperative ‘Tolstovtsy’, protest against the appearance of motor-car parking at the territory adjoining to their house.
The initiative group states that the owners of the motor-car parking are violating their right to use the territory adjoining to their house, deteriorate ecological situation in the region and block up roads for fire-engines.
According to the owners of the motor-car parking they have all official approvals on lease of the territory.
About 100 people took part in the protest action. The assembled people promised to gather at the territory weekly to conduct protest actions, to send written application to law enforcement agencies and to public prosecutor and also apply to Vladimir Putin, RF Prime-Minister. The residents already applied with collective complaint to Vladimir Ushakov, the human rights commissioner, Primorskiy Krai.
The rally passed without any accidents. A police squad maintained order.
