Third Pacific Economic Congress Takes Place in Vladivostok
Strategic collaboration between the Far East and the Pacific Rim countries is on agenda
VLADIVOSTOK. July 10. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Preparation for the Third Pacific Economic Congress is in progress. More than 600 letters of invitation to participate in the congress were sent to Russian and foreign governmental authorities, business and scientific circles.
The major events of the congress will be held on July 25. The forum will be opened by plenary meeting, with the topic of strategic collaboration between the Far East and the Pacific Rim countries on agenda.
Topical Discussions reflecting the highlights on prospects of deepening of co-operation in the region are also to be held. “Fuel and energy sector, oil and gas processing – forecasts of development of market and major projects”, “Transportation and logistical system and through transportations in the Russian Far East - economic growth prospects”, “Cities that are attractive to people are the cities of the future. Urbanization of the Asian-Pacific Region”, “Financial and real sector of economy: competitive prospects and present problems of co-operation” will be the main topics of the forum.
The public presentation “regional architectural exhibition ‘Vladivostok-2012’” will operate in the framework of the congress, reported press service of Primorsky Krai administration.
