Specialists created a principally new computer model of the Milky Way

VLADIVOSTOK. 10 November. VOSTOK-MEDIA. The most overriding issue for all astronomers is the substance of the Universe. It is known that stars and planets comprise only the smallest part of the substance, while 85% is the hidden part called “dark matter”. Scientists have not yet decoded its constitution.
Specialists have created a computer model of the Milky Way due to which they will be able to decode the substance.
Astronomers have recognized zones in the centre of galaxy where gamma-rays are supposed to be. Telescope “Fermy” is expected to find evidences being at the NASA shuttle launched on the orbit. Smallest elements radiate gamma-rays and scope closer to the centre. Innumerable elements collide and, thus, radiate.
There are two hypotheses about “dark mater”: according to one of them, this matter consists of large planet-sized objects. Others think that elements are extremely small. Evidence received from the telescope will decode the substance.
Last year specialists from NASA discovered an isolated system of “dark matter” elements at the distance of 5 billion light years from the Earth. It looked like a circled accumulation with a diameter of 2.6 billion light years. Accumulation was found by the telescope "Hubble" earlier in 2006.
Revelation was done unexpectedly while scientists were composing maps with accumulations of dark matter in the galaxy Cl 0024+17 (ZwC10024+1652). First, scientists assumed they had done a mistake in data processing and representation. But having worked thoroughly, they found out that accumulation appeared after star groupings collided 1-2 billion lights years ago.
Astronomers suppose that matter began falling into the centre and soon after dispersed around as water disperses given a stone has been thrown into water. Now astronomers are trying to find out what the difference is between dark matter “behavior” and normal matter one.
