500 Millions Rubbles More For Bridge Construction over the Golden Horn Bay

VLADIVOSTOK. January 12. VOSTOK-MEDIA - 500 millions rubbles more were spent on bridge construction over the Golden Horn bay in Vladivostok. The means were given under the program ”The development of the Vladivostok city as a center of international cooperation in Asia-Pacific region”
The overall amount of money that were given from federal budget resources on the construction of the object in 2008 accounted for 3,2 billions rubbles and 402 millions from the regional budget resources.
Sergey Darkin, The Governor of the Primorskiy Krai marked the competent work of the bridge builders in the previous year. The automobile tunnel that will serve as a drive in the bridge from the side of the upper platform of the rack-railway is already built. According to the project the time for the tunnel construction is 22 months, though the builders accomplished 80 % of the construction for 5 months. The people were working without their day-offs in three turns. Thanks to accurate and harmonious performance of the work of the builders and installation brigades, the drivers of heavy machinery and heavy-duty vehicles and corps of engineers we managed to start car traffic earlier planned time by 4 times. The completion of the construction and put in operation of the bridge is scheduled on 2012. The bridge will connect the north and the south sides of the city. The length of the bridge will be over 2 km. The height above the water will be 60 meters.
