Hoax Explosive Device Put Bomb Squad on Alert

KHABAROVSK. February 12. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Khabarovsk Krai Fire Department Dispatch Service received a phone call yesterday regarding a suspicious package resembling an explosive timing device in a shopping mall located in Krasnorechenskaya Street.

Khabarovsk Krai EMERCOM spokesman told Vostok-Media a response team was immediately dispatched to the incident site. The police bomb squad removed a suspicious package from the mall. Police said it was a hoax explosive device and did not present any danger to people. Police has launched investigation into the case.
