In Russia the import of right hand cars might be banned by the Customs Union
Vladivostok. July 12. VOSTOK-MEDIA - The Russian revolution could be denied re-imported RHD cars, said on Monday the newspaper "Vedomosti". RIA "Vostok-Media" reminds us that such attempts have repeatedly been made in the Russian government. Now it is done under the cover of the Customs Union (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus).
The ban on "putting into circulation of vehicles with right steering position" in the draft of the new technical regulations for the Customs Union, says the publication.
