Pallada Celebrate Jubilee of Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol
Sevastopol citizens and guests visited Pallada
VLADIVOSTOK. May 13. VOSTOK MEDIA - In May 11 the training sailing ship Pallada took part in celebration of the 225th anniversary of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
The Frigate has been carrying out a round-the-world cruise since November 2, 2007. This cruise is dedicated to the 190th anniversary of date when Russian ships began navigation under the command of F. Bellinsgausen and M. Lasarev and 50th anniversary of the beginning of Russian research work in Antarctic Continentс.
The voyage rout is Vladivostok – Western part of the Pacific Ocean – Australia – Panama Canal - Atlantic Ocean - Mediterranean Sea - Black Sea - Suez Canal - Indian Ocean – Vladivostok. The ship will visit 22 countries.
In May 10 the ship visited Sevastopol and in May 11 when the 225th anniversary of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was celebrated Sevastopol citizens and guests visited Pallada.
The next destination of the ship is Novorossiisk where the ship will come in May 15.
