Far East Media is Acknowledged as the Most Objective in Terms of Covering the Crisis in the Country

VLADIVOSTOK. January 14. VOSTOK-MEDIA - The opinion poll taken by All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research showed that Far East Media is the most objective one in terms of covering the crisis in the country.
Almost 36 % of the respondents regard this information as a sufficient so that people could understand present state of affairs.
21 % of the respondents believe that mass media frequently overestimate the consequences of the crisis and whip up emotions for nothing. And 17 % of the respondents of the Primorskiy Krai think that mass media provide uncandid and deficient data on the economical crisis.
As to the general picture, 38 % of Russians believe that mass media do not provide enough information about the present state of affairs. 27 % of the Russian residents regard the data provided by domestic mass media as objective and complete. 20 % state mass media frequently overestimate the consequences of the crisis and whip up emotions for nothing. 15 % were uncertain as to the answer.
Along with Far East residents 34 % of the respondents of the Central Federal Region and the residents of both capitols think that mass media coverage concerning the crisis themes is objective.
The more the level of education of Russians, the more that they express their opinion that mass media provide uncandid and deficient data on the economical crisis: 23 % of the respondents with basic and post basic education in comparison with 45 % with higher and undergraduate education.
