Forest Fires Growing in Far East
55 officers and 9 units of equipment have been mobilized to fight against fires.
KHABAROVSK. April 14. VOSTOK MEDIA – Six wildfires are now burning at the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia covering 788 hectares.
He press service of the Far Eastern regional branch of the Ministry for Extraordinary Situations reports four fires are raging across the territory of 518 hectares in the Primorsky Krai and two in the Amur Oblast covering 270 hectares. Three wildfires are burning at less than 10 km from settlements: two in the Primorsky Krai and one in the Amur Oblast.
