Disregarding the lack of time, none of the scheduled projects has been started yet.

VLADIVOSTOK. April 14. VOSTOK MEDIA – The Russian Builders Association tried to revitalize a fading hope for holding the 2012 APEC summit in Vladivostok.
Last week the commission of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation had a working tour through four cities of Russia – Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan-Ude and Vladivostok. The commission included the president of the Russian Builders Association (RBA) Nikolai Koshman.
Vladivostok, a venue for holding the 2012 APEC summit, drew a special interest of the commission and Nikolai Koshman in particular. The city program of development till 2011 provides for construction of a large number of projects. Disregarding the lack of time, none of the scheduled projects has been started yet. Nikolai Kashin considers the main reason is unwillingness and unskillfullness of the Federal Agency for Construction, Housing and Public Utilities (Rosstroy) and Directorate-General for State Environmental Review (Glavgosekspertiza) to solve questions concerning design specifications and estimates and assist help in finding the main sub-contractor.
Following the results of the working trip Nikolai Koshman will hold meetings with the directorship of Glavgosekspertiza where the issue of Vladivostok construction will be acutely discussed. In his turn chairman of Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin will make a report to President Putin about the complicated situation in the Primorsky Krai.
On April 11 the Russian Builders Association held a meeting with the largest Chinese construction company building unique erections. The sides agreed, next week the company’s directorship will arrive in Vladivostok to hold talks with the Primorsky Krai Governor Sergey Darkin.
