Automobile Assembly Plant will be Constructed in Primorskiy Krai This Year

VLADIVOSTOK. April 14. VOSTOK-MEDIA – ‘Sollers’ company commenced to prepare for setting up manufacture of Korean roadsters Ssang Yong and Japanese trucks Isuzu in the Russian Far East.
The place for construction of the plant was chosen the industrial zone situated in Primorskiy Krai.
Creation of the automobile assembling plant in the Far East is a momentous event. It is a pilot project, and it is unique project in terms of scale of production and quality of the produce.
The first vehicles made in Primorskiy Krai are supposed to roll of the production line in the latter half of this year. At the present time the specialists from Sollers are drawing up a schedule of work on preparation of manufacture area and starting-up of the production.
The project is a breakthrough< because opening of the plant will create additional jobs and trucks made on the plant will be used in the building of APEC-2012 summit objects. Moreover, the gathered experience may be implemented in other areas of Far East regions.
