Russian submarine, donated to the Indian Navy sank

Vladivostok. August 14. VOSTOK-MEDIA - diesel-electric submarine of the Russian production owned by the Indian Navy, "Sindurakshak" ("Sea Giant"), on board of which there was a fire, sank on Wednesday in the port of registry - Mumbai, reports Times of India. "There remains, however, the possibility that several people were trapped on the submarine. Details are being found out ", - quotes the edition statement by the Ministry of Defense, ITAR-TASS reported. According to the press after a fire that broke out on Tuesday just before midnight, aboard the "Sindurakshak" the explosion occurred. Reasons for emergency are investigated.
