The Wedded Pair from Yakutia was Awarded a “Best Parents” Medal

YAKUTSK. January 15. VOSTOK-MEDIA – A new state prize-giving ceremony of the Parental Fame Order took place in Kremlin. Eight large families including the residents of Yakutia – Vladimir and Olga were rewarded. This couple is residing in Iengra village of Nerungrinsk nomad camp of Yakutia. They have five own children and two adopted children. Vladimir is a hereditary hunter, the worker of municipal unitary enterprise “Iengra”. Olga works as a nurse’s aide in the local hospital. Her parents are famous for creation of the first Evenkis dictionary. They are of Evenkis ethnicity.
The Maksimov family became the winner of republic’s festival “The Family of the Year” last year which is conducted since 2002. The Maksimov family was representing not only Yakutia but whole Far East federal district.
