How to Conserve Siberian Tigers in 21st Century?
This issue will be discussed at the International Scientific Conference in Vladivostok.
VLADIVOSTOK. March 15. VOSTOK-MEDIA – International scientific conference themed “Siberian Tiger in North-East Asia: Problems of Conservation in 21st Century” takes place in Vladivostok from March 16 through 18. Institute of Biology and Soil Science, Pacific Institute of Geography, FEB RAS, World Wildlife Fund and Wildlife Conservation Society are the organizer of the event.
The conference will consider the revised version of the Strategy of Siberian Tiger Preservation and Specific Response Plans in Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk Krai, a spokesman for Amur Branch of WWF Russia told Vostok-Media.
The event will be an important step towards the International Tiger Conservation Summit, which will be held in Vladivostok in September, 2010.
The event will be held at Soyuz-Roliz (11, Chetvyortaya Street) on March 16 at 10:00a.m. Media briefing – at 9:30a.m.
