New Names Festival Opens in Khabarovsk

KHABAROVSK. March 15. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The International Festival “2010 New Names of Asia Pacific Countries” opens in Khabarovsk on March 16. Khabarovsk Krai Administration and Far Eastern branch of international charity fund New Names are the organizers of the event.

The opening ceremony and the competition will be held in Khabarovsk Children’s Center of Aesthetic Education. The event includes fine art contest, computer technologies contest, vocal and instrumental music concerts and master classes. The ceremonial closing of the competition will be held in Far East State University of Communication Lines.

The event will gather young musicians, artists and computer wizards from Khabarovsk, Primorsky Krai, Jewish Autonomous Region, Amur Oblast, as well as from China, Japan and South Korea.
