Protest of city car drivers against measures of the Far Eastern Customs service comes into streets.

VLADIVOSTOK. April 15. VOSTOK MEDIA – Today Vladivostok car drivers held a protest against the reforms of the Far Eastern customs service that slowed down registration of cars imported from Japan.

A car column went into the streets of Vladivostok to protest against new measures of the customs service. The protesters say the reforms led to extremely slow registration of cars imported from Japan. The Vladivostok storages are completely filled up and ships have to disembark in the neighboring ports of Zarubino and Slavyanka.

Car dealers and other businessmen face significant financial losses while car prices grow.

In protest drivers decorated their cars with yellow ribbons and moved through the streets with power-on klaxons passing the buildings of administration and customs department.

Protesters say it’s not the last demonstration against the arbitrariness of authorities. The march of empty oilcans against growing gasoline prices will take place in Vladivostok on April 26.
